News:
ACNZSN’s Journal of Australian, Canadian, and Aotearoa New Zealand Studies (JACANZS) has issued a Call for Papers for Volume 1, Issue 2 of the journal. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is 30 June 2021.
ACNZSN is very pleased to announce that the winner of its inaugural Donna Coates Book Prize is James Keating’s Distant Sisters: Australasian Women and the International Struggle for the Vote, 1880-1914 (Manchester: Manchester University Press, 2020) 🙂 Warmest congratulations to James again!
Professor Martin Thomas and Dr. Béatrice Bijon of the Australian National University have been appointed Co-Directors of the Menzies Australia Institute at King’s College London in London, United Kingdom.
The Annual Indigenous Feminisms Workshop at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada will be taking place online on 18-19 March 2021. The workshop is free and will feature a great panel of speakers. This includes the Convenor of the workshop, Professor Isabel Altamirano-Jimenez, Canada Research Chair in Comparative Indigenous Feminist Studies at the University of Alberta.
The ‘Interdisciplinary Studies in Diasporas’ book series at Peter Lang Publishing has published a broad spectrum of fascinating and significant books and is open to new manuscript proposals.
Pacific Arts: Journal of the Pacific Arts Association also has an Open call for contributions and a specific Call for Papers for ‘Pacific Island Worlds: Oceanic Dis/Positions’. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is 1 May 2021.
