The Menzies Australia Institute at King’s College London, London, UK recently released a podcast on ‘Patrick White in London’. In this episode, White’s biographer David Marr talks about the Nobel Laureate’s deep connections with the ‘Old Dart’.
The Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration & Integration at Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario (ON), Canada will be holding its second annual conference on the very topical theme of ‘Migration and the Future of Work: Canadian and Comparative Perspectives in Pandemic Times’ on 22-25 February 2021.
The University of Victoria, Victoria, British Columbia (BC), Canada will be hosting an online panel discussion on ‘Indigenous Ways of Teaching and Learning’ on Thursday 25 February 2021 at 12.30-2.30pm (PT) as a part of its Open Forum Series at its National Centre for Indigenous Laws. The panel will be facilitated by Professor John Borrows, Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Law and will include guest panelists Naiomi Metallic, Dr. Darcy Lindberg, and Jeffrey Hewitt.
The Canadian Historical Association (CHA)’s third webinar in its Precarious Historians series on ‘Disciplinary Caring: What can the CHA do?’ will be taking place on Friday 19 March 2021 at 1pm (ET). The participants will be Professor Ele Chenier, Dr. Laura Madokoro, Dr. Andrea Eidinger, Professor Harold Bérubé, Dr. David Tough, and Letitia Johnson. The panel will be chaired by Professor Barrington Walker.
