Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand Studies Network (ACNZSN) Newsletter – 27/05/22

Dear All,

Please find below the latest news, opportunities, and recent publications in Australian, Canadian, and Aotearoa New Zealand Studies 🙂

News:

The ‘Global Encounters & First Nations Peoples’ Research Project at the Monash Indigenous Studies Centre has a call for chapters for a fascinating edited collection on Spheres of Interaction: A handbook of Global Oceanic Encounters. The deadline for the submission of abstracts is 30 September 2022.

The Emerging Scholars’ Forum of the Association for Canadian Studies in German-Speaking Countries (GKS) has launched an exciting initiative to create an International Network of Emerging Scholars in Canadian Studies. ACNZSN is strongly supportive of GKS’s efforts and to this end the latter has asked ACNZSN to nominate a Graduate Student/Early Career Researcher (ECR) representative. If any of ACNZSN’s supporters who work in Canadian Studies is interested in being the ACNZSN Graduate Student/ECR representative please contact the Creator and Manager of ACNZSN: Dr. Jatinder Mann via email at acnzsn@gmail.com.
