Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand Studies Network (ACNZSN) Newsletter – 29/08/24

Dear All,

Please find below the latest news, opportunities, and publications in Australian, Canadian, and Aotearoa New Zealand Studies 🙂

News:

ACNZSN is very excited to announce the recent publication of Volume 4 of its Journal of Australian, Canadian, and Aotearoa New Zealand Studies (JACANZS)! The fifth issue of the journal includes cutting-edge research, several reflective and showcasing pieces, and a plethora of book reviews 🙂 The journal is open access and so anyone can read all of the above. Do consider submitting an article or writing a book review for the next issue of the journal, which is due to be published in the summer (northern hemisphere) of 2025! 🙂

ACNZSN also wants to remind everyone that submissions for its Donna Coates Book Prize are due by 31 December 2024. The prize is for any book in the fields of Australian, Canadian, and Aotearoa New Zealand Studies published in 2024. Other guidelines can be found at the above link.

And ACNZSN is also very pleased to share that Dr. Effie Karageorgos has kindly agreed to become a public supporter of the network and join the editorial board of JACANZS! Effie’s expertise will especially benefit the latter. Dr. Karageorgos has already peer reviewed manuscripts and written book reviews and so ACNZSN is extremely grateful that she has decided to formalise her relationship with both the network and journal. We very much look forward to working together in the future 🙂
